And he couldn’t be more right. Even if you have a superior points-based rewards system in place for your employees, you won’t get far without the right manager to foster trust and loyalty between them.

According to Forbes.com contributor Jacob Morgan, strong managers are those who “follow from the front” or work hard to ensure the success of their employees. They also understand technology, lead by example, embrace vulnerability, believe in sharing information and collective intelligence.

With the right managers leading your teams, you can be confident that your points-based rewards systems will enhance the motivation your employees already experience by being part of an all-inclusive, encouraging team.
